I don’t know about Arthur Holubar but my great uncle Allen Joseph Holubar was one of the early silent film stars and co-founder of United Artists., and starred in 20000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1916 - first special effects movie. He died on location in TN of pneumonia in 1923 caught filming a Civil War epic in the rain. He’s buried in Hollywood Cemetery..
His father, my great grandfather , Constant, emigrated from Bohemia (Hradic Kralove) in 1875, eventually to San Francisco.
